We are partnering with Inclusion North to conduct important research focused on parent and family carers of individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities.

If you live in North Cumbria or the North East, we want to hear from you! We’re reaching out to families in the following areas: – Darlington – Durham – Cumbria – Gateshead – Hartlepool – Middlesbrough – Newcastle – North Tyneside – Northumberland – Redcar & Cleveland – South Tyneside – Stockton – Sunderland

This is an opportunity to share your experiences and insights about finding activities and support for your loved ones. Your voice matters, and we would love to have a chat!

For over 16鈥檚 only. Hadrian school has organised a meet up in a pub for food and drinks.

Here鈥檚 what they said:

鈥淏ack in November 2024, I launched our first 鈥楾ipple and Talk鈥� night at the Jingling Gate, West Denton. It was a great event and with your help we can together make it even more of a roaring success.

I received this feedback from a parent 鈥業 can鈥檛 Thank you enough for creating this event. This is the first time that I have been able to have a date night with my husband, knowing that my daughter is having fun and socialising in such an age-appropriate way.鈥�

This is a chilled, family feel venue with a pool table. We have an exclusive area to support this event. This event is aimed at young people from 16 + and into adulthood (30鈥檚)

Monday 10^th March 14-15.00 is our next FoPHS Meeting. Please join us in person or online. The link to join online will be shared after half term. We would love your support and suggestions.

Mother鈥檚 Day Sale. FoPHS supports the student council, so please send in donations for their annual Mother鈥檚 Day sale as soon as you can.

Great North Run 2025. My husband Richard and daughter Aisling have signed up for the GNR again this year to raise funds for FoPHS. I am grateful to our fund-raising team for allowing the funds raised to come to FoPHS. Over the last couple of years, it has become more challenging to raise funds. Once they set up a donation page, I ask for your support in sponsoring them. Our son left 最新麻豆原创 School in 2017, so we are limited in expecting our friends and family outside the foundation to support.
